Davis snubbed from All Star Weekend

Old news by now and I apologise but the warriors continued their playoff like streak of 13 years without an All Star appearance as Baron Davis was snubbed by the Coaches and fans. Can somebody give me a Latwrell Sprewell

Moving on over the controversy over Brandon Roy being selected over Boom Dizzle there were positives to the selections both from the West and East. Nice to see Tracy McGrady left out who even admitted he didn't deserve to go, Tony Parker who's flopping was the main problem, Manu Ginobilli ditto, Deron Williams even though eventually he will be in Cp3 and Barons class in a few years, Al Jefferson who despite putting up big numbers plays on the worst team on the League which is a minus. At leadt the coaches were right on the money here.

But back to reality Baron was robbed. Not taken anything from Brandon Roy who's been the main reason for the Blazers resurgence back to playoff contention but Baron is the better player. Just look at the numbers for further proof.

Baron Davis: 22.3 ppg, 8.1 apg, 4.8 rpg, 2.5 steals, 0.6 blocks

Brandon Roy: 19.3 ppg, 5.6 apg, 4.5 rpg, 0.9 steals, 0.2 blocks

Far superior yet Baron was robbed. I would even go so far as to say he is having a better season then Steve Nash. He's got more points, rebounds, steals, has a less talented team yet atill plays Defense Nash largely has the inability to do so. A game without Baron Davis on the West team largely becomes unwatchable and the ratings will suffer. Baron has game, intelligence, charisma and flash. Just for the record the Warriors are 29-19 the Blazers 26-19 so even record wise the warriors have the advantage.

But maybe this will motivate him. And besides Bryon Scott is coaching the West so Baron wouldn't have got any PT anyway because Bryon holds some stupid grudge since the trade. So do the fans because right after Golden State beat the Hornets the fans who decided to actually show up and boo Baron as if convienently forgetting all the help he's given the community of New Orleans right after Hurricane Katrina or his Call for help braclets. Even though the arena crowd was equivalent to library noise it showed a lack of class.

At the end of the day our roster may be misunderstood and the NBA may not give a damm about us but who cares. We believe
