Which team has the best home-court advantage?
Utah Jazz 34.6%
Dallas Mavericks 26.9%
San Antonio Spurs 11.5%
Golden State Warriors 7.7
Granted results of an NBA survey usually don't appply to games such as these but it's an important starting point for our 2007-2008 Warriors. Coming off a depressing loss in L.A where it was a story of getting outrebounded and Biedrins getting dominated in the paint again the last place Golden State wanted to trave too was Utah after the opening night debacle. However the Jazz host them tonight in a game that has all the makings of a Jazz blowout. How to win in a such a hostile enviroment with some of the Leagues worst fans looks impossible but the most obvious coaching decision should go first.
Start small. No point going with Andris Biedrins at Center or POB both will get fustrated and eaten alive early by the Jazz big men. Start with a lineup like B-Diddy,Monta,Kelenna, Barnes and Harrington where at least you have the chance to run a fast break and get some kind of an offense going. Despite our over reliance on them some 3's would be needed early
On Defense the last time the Warriors had a effective zone this happenned. I don't see why not the Jazz are a team that like to play down low so any hands up denying the entry pass are a bonus. Considering the Jazz led the League in fouls last season hopefully any drive to the basket will draw a foul from the big men. It means more of a chance of pulling an upset. Davis playing time limits also have to be mimized to 36 minutes at the most because he will face much tougher tasks then the Jazz. Playing Lasme and Wright is also a must because without Stephen Jackson who once again I'll say we miss a lot it would be nice to see just what exactly do the youngsters bring to the team. You won't know the value of Jason Richardsons trade unless you persue and so far Nelson hasn't.
My perdictions: We lose oh wait you meant positive well in that case Davis has the exact same stats from last night.
:Boozer destroys us inside again posting up 30 and 12
:Kyrylo Fesenko their Center goes scoreless
:Jazz get 118 to the Warriors 96
Sadly this happenned way too often in the Jazz series
